Last summer I participated in a Summerschool by 100 Fold Studio in Lakeside, Montana USA. 100 Fold Studio is a not-for-profit architecture firm that serves local missionaries and non-profit organisations globally. As part of their vision, they organize a yearly summer program for students and young professionals in this specific field. This six-week program is all about how christian principles and architecture come together for this world’s needs. Several internal- and guestspeakers shared their expertise and knowledge about architecture, enterperneurship and (global) missions. Next to the theoretical aspects, a big part of the summer programm was hands-on designing and building. This year’s project was the Youth With A Mission campus Lakeside Montana.
